Millions of Americans will take to the polls and vote today. Do you plan on voting? I voted, but don’t worry I am not going to bore you with who I voted for and why. I am here to tell you that your vote MATTERS!!
Democrat, Republican or Independent! Cast your vote for the candidate that you feel is the best choice for you, your family and your country.
I have found there is no truly unbiased resource for getting information. We live in a country that allows us the right to choose our leaders. Every American has the right to vote, regardless of whether we agree with the choice of candidates. I encourage each and every one of you to get out and cast your vote, make a difference. Participating in electing our leaders is important.
I voted for whom I feel is the best candidate for my family, our country and myself. I come to my own conclusions. I try not to have a preference on any particular party.
Are you extremely passionate about the candidate that you have chosen to support? Remember that no matter how passionate you are about your party or candidate there is someone who is equally as passionate about theirs. Keep it civil and try to remember that even after the election is over these people will still be your friends. I learned along time ago that discussing religion and politics are the two quickest ways to end a friendship. We all have our views and reasons. Try to remember this and just agree to disagree.
Do not be swayed by anyone. Do not allow someone to make you think you are making the wrong decision. That is one of the great things about being a military spouse, we know how different we can all be and learn to love each other despite the differences!
Our spouses work hard everyday to preserve our right to choose our Commander in Chief. We should vote! We owe them that much.
So what are you waiting for?? Get out and cast your vote!!
